Vibe- This is one of the most cozy coffee shops I’ve been to! Maybe it’s because it literally is a house that was turned into a coffee shop :) there’s a big space in the front and then there’s 3 other rooms with plenty of seating options. There’s 3 bar style areas to sit at, some couches, and a great amount of tables with chairs. There’s some seating outside too! Customer service- Amazing! The barista that served me was sweet and helpful. Food/drinks- I got a cortado with oat milk and vanilla. To eat I got the black bean tamales that came with plantain chips and everything was so good! Parking- There’s about 9 spots in the lot of the shop and then street parking as well.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Wow! What a hidden gem in the heart of Montrose! Campesino Coffee House is a delightful oasis that I can't believe I didn't discover sooner. The Cubano coffee was an absolute delight, and the cafe olla was a taste bud revelation! Whether you're looking for a spot to relax, catch up with friends, or get some work done remotely, this place has got you covered. The ambiance is cozy, the staff is friendly, and the coffee is top-notch. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a memorable coffee experience. Can't wait to come back for more! ☕🌿

Visited this place twice while visiting Houston. The coffee is amazing and it's cozy inside. First time we got the Maya Mocha which had a satisfying spice to it. Second visit we got the café de olla and Campesino café con leche with oat milk. I'm going to be daydreaming about this place.

Campesino is a quaint little throwback coffee house with a rebellious streak. Centered around revolutionary ideas it's a cute little 1940s American bungalow house and it is always packed full to the brim if you can find a parking space and get in you're doing great. The coffee is excellent, aside from a small case of empanadas there's no real food offering but this place is surrounded by amazing cafes if you want to get a meal. Coffee ☕ and atmosphere is excellent and worth a visit.

I live in the neighborhood and am super grateful for Campesino - incredible hangout vibe and the best dirty chai latte I’ve ever had (I’ve tried all spots in the Montrose, can’t speak for beyond that). When the weather is nice, highly recommend the patio. Much love to y’all

When I say I felt at home here, it would be an understatement. The decor and vibrant colors, instill a decluttering effect on the mental. With ample parking and seating, this place is more then just your local coffee shop.

Today I traveled to Campesino Coffee for the first time after I left FLATS Film lab down the road. I come from Kemah, Texas so I decided to try somewhere in Houston for my coffee fix and Campesino Coffee seemed cozy. To my suprise I was greeted by a friendly customer, and they have parking that wasn’t on the street available. As I approached inside it was more cozy of an environment than I expected. I loved the glassware for the hot & cold drinks. They definitely go with the aesthetic that the owner is achieving. I also love how traditional their menu is to a different culture. It’s different which is nice. I had the Horchata Latte w/ Horchata oat milk and it was lovely. Not to sweet and not to strong. I also had their tamales but they weren’t my cup of tea. I wanted to try something new. It’s nothing on there end! Last but not least they have a nice outdoor area with shading, and nice seats that are comfortable. Including plants. I just wish the plants were more lively not dead haha. All in all 10/10 a great experience with lovely coffee.

This was such a cute cozy cafe! It’s within an old eclectic house that was retrofitted to fit the cafe. As a result the decor and ambience is super cozy. There are lots of little rooms with several seating arrangements and tables that give you a sense of privacy as well as several bar tables near sunny windows and outlets if you are there to work. We tried the horchata latte and a Mayan mocha as well as some of their tamales and pastries. Everything was excellent, and this coming from a native Latin American! The staff was bilingual and knowledgeable and communicative when we were still deciding what to get. Overall, we can’t wait to go back! What a lovely intimate spot within the city!
